When you were a tadpole and I was a fish In the Paleozoic time.~Smith

Here is the quote that is inspiring it:

When oxygen and hydrogen find one another, their joining produces fiery passion. Out of this fire, water is born. Quaint Victorian chemistry gives us an image of one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms in a fixed molecule that bounces around from place to place. The reality of water is not so orderly. The hydrogen atoms are not owned by any particular oxygen atom. Water is a substance very much in love with itself, and the atoms connect in webs and clusters where oxygen shares around the hydrogen atoms freely, a fluid situation indeed.

I've got all the final details to do today on this work and then it will be done. I am so enjoying painting fish. Wondering what brought this on...I started looking up stuff about koi fish. Koi have a rich history and koi in the arts are historic for all types of meanings (in the links) and for creating good fortunes for the artists. Interesting right?

Well, I have to get to the easel...hope all is well your your worlds!

I'll post a finished picture as soon as I get there.

Andrea...thanks. I love words, always have and I have a collector of wise words for about 20 years now. It's a sickness...I own over 600 books and growing. Argh!
As far as what's next...I simply have no idea...isn't that great?

I always enjoy your quotes too!

As far as the fish are concerned, they're "carp on a stick" fantastic! I loved your comment the other day! Thanks - it made me laugh out loud, literally.

Cynthia! You have not heard all my southern sayings yet...I have quite a few to go! Hahahaha
Thanks for the feedback...I am having fun with fish...maybe that means that I am back in the "flow" of things again.
Love to you.
