I have not gotten into a head space where I can do my new job and create art yet...maybe today will be the day. I am itchy to paint.

This is my 800th post!

Isn't that cool?

I think so.

I made a commitment to myself 3 years ago, to write as often as possible in this blog as an exercise in finding myself and to help my learning process about who, what and why I am here on this earth.

I find that writing helps me to sort things out like nothing else ever has. It gives me a history to look back on and see where I have been, and what I have been able to do and learn...and change as well.

I am pretty proud of myself for this accomplishment,

for this commitment to myself.

I never wrote with the thought that others would read it and I never write to speak to anyone else other than myself. The gravy of this exercise has been that I have made friends and new art patrons along the way. For that bonus gift I am most grateful.

I have learned and changed so much since the beginning of this blog that I feel like a completely different person than when I started.

I was not ever one to keep a diary growing up, I didn't in those years have much that was good or even sane to write about. I'm not saying that I always do today...but at least I have a more adult perspective on life now...and I can look back and laugh, learn, and discover things that I think will help me to continue to grow as an artist and a human being in the long run.

The essence of life is simple. We live this life to grow, manifest, develop spiritual awareness and universal love, and be of service. Life is a personal evolution of consciousness. It was the intention of the Father of Numerology, Pythagoras, born 580 B.C., Greece, to lift mankind from 1 (egocentricity) to 9 (selflessness). In so doing, he blended mathematics, music, mysticism, science, astronomy and philosophy to teach spiritual principle. Number interpretations describe best the understanding of your Soul's journey, people, and all fluctuations, positive and negative, throughout life.

Numerology is learning more about yourself. When you discover what numbers mean, it is as though someone gave you a magic wand. You can take back your power and be your own person. Since every letter has a numeric value, think of every word being filled with magic and power. If you align yourself with your essence and purpose here on earth and think and speak positive words to express them, you can change an unhappy condition.

Also up for Today... I am hoping to get some more work done, yesterday ended up not being what I thought it was going to be, with my work for the day being a disappointment and so I tossed it. I am going to start again today and see if I can get it right. Try-Try Again...
I was able to get some cool full moon pictures as the moon rose last night so I'll post those later on and share the view from my back porch. Ummm, let's see...I did get some nice feedback on a couple of other sites about my new works...nice as always to hear reviews, thank you one and all...one wasn't great but I value the perspective...and hey... art is subjective...so to each their own.
I can dig it. I actually got some real good ideas from the negative feedback about something that is going to help out with this new work...so it's all good!
I guess that's all for this morning, I have to feed the rug rats and get them off to school (I can't wait for that!) then I can settle into work for the day.
